About the Role
As a school-based SLP, youll assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in students ranging from preschool through high school. Your work ensures every student has the support they need to build confidence, connect with peers and educators, and succeed academically.
Caseloads may include multiple campuses, giving you a rich opportunity to make connections across diverse communities while collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Deliver direct therapy services tailored to student needs

Consult with school teams and families to support classroom strategies and intervention plans

Maintain detailed records and documentation to ensure compliance with district and state guidelines

Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing progress monitoring
